• My second graders loved reading this book to learn more about Franklin Roosevelt during Presidents' Day. Some words and concepts were challenging for them,but overall they were able to read it independently.
• My grandson started reading this immediately upon receipt
• We homeschool and we read these books as part of our history curriculum. I love how concise and compact they are while still giving a good overview of the life and times of prominent figures.

• the "who was" book series is FANTASTIC for introducting 2nd-4th graders on many of the wonderful people that dot our history. information is very readable and factual with nice little drawings to give added detail. Highly recommend!
