• It was as if I were reading my own story. Dr. Marshak has truly captured the frustration, hurt, and emotional pain of the NT spouse while offering tools for parenting in these very difficult situations.

Of all the book's out there, Kathy from her own experience having been raised by an Asperger mother and raising her own Asperger child as well as seeing many many clients on the spectrum has a birds eye view into the realm of Autism. This book is a great help for those married to or are raising Asperger children. It is long overdue to have a book this helpful. I have read many books on Austim Spectrum Disorders and this is a must read.
• It was like reading about my own life except the stories were told with more compassion, insight and hope than I am normally able to muster up for myself. I am sure I will return to it for reference often but after first reading my overwhelming reaction is one of relief that I am not alone and reassurance that there is a way to maybe more than just muddle through my often confusing, frustrating life.
